Compared to Rise of Nations, there are only three playable races. buildable districts, hero units, dominance, a simplified resource management (only two resource types per playable race) and neutral tribes, buildings and units to be conquered. In addition, Rise of Legends has many of its own features such as B. Rise of Legends retains most of the innovative features from Rise of Nations such as city building, country borders, unit wear and tear, assimilation, non-perishing resources and the world conquest campaign.

The missions play very differently and very creative ideas have been incorporated.
